Double Your Results in Half The Time

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Sometimes when we know what to do, but just aren’t following through and doing it, an easy way to fix this is create a “Challenge” for a fixed period of time so that you can put in the extra effort to achieve your goals.

Most of the principles that we teach are lifestyle orientated and designed to be maintainable long-term as part of a balanced lifestyle. But sometimes bad habits can easily creep back in, and we just need an extra “Oomph” to kick start our good habits back into gear and send the bad habits packing.

This is why we run our Boot Camps, Yoga and Programs in 6-12 week “blocks”. A period of time where you can set your goal for that time period, and make the most of the extra help provided to you to stay extra motivated and follow through with achieving your goals.

For a long time now we have stuck to 12 week rounds, however recently we decided to mix it up and create shorter, 6 week rounds, designed to help you stay even MORE motivated for this SHORTER time period.

We were also inspired by our client David, who came to us at the beginning of the year and before the last 12 week Boot Camp set the goal to lose 10 kilos, and ended up reaching that goal half way through at around the 6 week mark, and then went on to lose a total of 20kilos in 12 weeks! (Again, a true credit to you, awesome work David!!!!)

So our challenge to you, whether you are joining us at training or just doing your own home training:

What do you want to achieve in the next 6 weeks?

Where are you at, right now, in terms of your nutrition and training? (Where can you improve, where are you already doing well?)

What things can you do that you haven’t been doing that will make the biggest difference to speed up your results?

Where can you ask for help if you need it so that you power ahead towards your goals?

We would love to hear from you, let us know at training or in the comments below 🙂

Chocolate Mousse Recipe

By | Inspiration, Lifestyle, Motivation, Nutrition, Recipes | No Comments

This week’s recipe is our new favourite, we stumbled across this delicious dessert serendipitously about a month or two ago when we ran out of Coconut Oil and were trying to make the Chocolate paste… Luckily this little dreamy concoction is absolutely delicious and has become a new favourite.

You will have to excuse the lack of precise ingredient quantaties as we tend to play around with different consistencies, but we will experiement further with an exact recipe and update you, but in the meantime all you will need is:

Ingredients

1 Whole Coconut (or 1 Tin of Coconut Cream)

Purest on the Planet Chocolate Protein Powder

Raw Cacao

Honey

Method

If you are using a fresh coconut, chop the top off, scoop out the coconut flesh and pour out the coconut water into the blender (we use a Vitamix). Blitz it all up into coconut cream (or just pour a tin of coconut cream into a bowl).

Add equal parts Purest on the Planet Chocolate Protein Powder and Raw Cacao into the Coconut Cream and mix until combined and creamy thick consistency. (Example 3-4 Scoops of each).

Add honey and mix in to taste.

*Optional Extra Goodness: To make into Chia Puddings just add a few scoops of Chia Seeds.

Pour into glasses or ramekins and pop in the fridge to set.

Enjoy!

This is the perfect alternative to binging on chocolate or ice cream, although it still needs to be enjoyed in moderation, you are benefiting from all of the goodness from these natural ingredients and it is a much healthier alternative!
